About the TEA
This tea surprised us with its delightful sweetness and rich aroma, instantly bringing honey to mind. Paired with the focused calm it inspires, we chose the name “Honey Buzz.”
Harvested from the renowned Xiao Hu Sai village, this raw pu erh offers a vibrant and layered experience. It begins with a bold but fleeting bitterness, quickly giving way to a burst of floral fragrance, and finishes with a smooth, honeyed sweetness reminiscent of manuka honey. The striking contrast between the initial bitterness and the sweet finish creates a unique balance, making this tea truly remarkable.
While Bingdao may be the best-known village in Mengku, the Xiao Hu Sai area boasts some of the region’s most ancient tea forests. With an average annual temperature of 20ºC and 1750mm of rainfall, the village enjoys ideal conditions for tea cultivation.
Home to just around 420 residents, nearly all working adults in Xiao Hu Sai are engaged in the tea industry, contributing to its rich tradition.
