We spent a long time looking for the ultimate gaiwan set that would meet all our requirements. We finally found what we were looking for through a small ceramic manufacturer in Shengzen. All the ceramics are handmade. The volumes are perfectly matched, the gaiwan fits very well in the hand and is easy to pour. The white ceramic makes it easy to see the color of the tea; the tall shape of the cups ensures a more intense aroma. The integrated drainage port of the teatray is designed for efficiency and cleanliness during extended tea sessions. Connected directly to a waste water bin via a hose (both not incuded), it allows residual water to drain automatically from the tray, eliminating the need for manual emptying. This seamless system helps maintain a tidy workspace, prevents water overflow, and ensures a smooth, uninterrupted tea experience. This set contains everything you need for a tea ceremony with up to 5 guests.
