About the TEA
The warm, floral taste of this tea, combined with its vibrant yellow liquor and the silvery-white shimmer of the tea cake, inspired the name “Sunlight Serenity.” It’s so calming and deeply relaxing that you may find it hard to switch to another tea in your planned session!
This beautiful white tea cake is made from the plump buds of the Yunnan ‘Da Ye Zhong’ cultivar, with a delicate silver needle appearance that brews into a soft, yellow infusion with a refreshing aroma—a true hallmark of top-grade white tea.
Unlike loose leaf tea, the tea material for this cake is gently steamed and then compressed. Over time, the leaves develop an even richer flavor, with peak maturity reached in around seven years, and remarkable taste enhancements as early as three years.
Please Note:
Our tea cakes are handcrafted and will not weigh exactly 100g. Variations can occur due to the artisanal pressing process and natural changes during aging, including shifts in moisture content. Each cake is unique, and these differences are a testament to the traditional methods and natural aging process involved.
